FEATURED HUBSPOT UPDATES
Limits Tracking Tab
The Limits Tracking tab allows admins to visualize and understand their limits and usage in real time from a single location, and proactively manage their portal, configuration, and data. Admins will be able to see limits for the following:
- Records per object type (contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, invoices and marketing events)
- Custom Object Definitions
- Custom Property Definitions
- Calculated Property Definitions
- Association Labels
- Associations per record
This new limits tab will be accessible by going to Reporting & Data>Data Model and selecting the Limits tab. Once there, admins will be able to select different tabs to learn about and view various limits and their usage.
Multi-Step Forms
Multi-Step Forms tackles the problem of form abandonment by breaking down longer forms into manageable parts, providing visitors with a sense of accomplishment and encouraging completion.
You will be able to create forms with a 'single step,' 'add a step,' 'remove a step'; as well as move fields and moved contents between steps. Learn more on the Knowledge Base.
View Other Tickets from Same Contact
This update introduces an "Other tickets" card, which can be viewed on the help desk sidebar. The "Other tickets" card shows any tickets that are associated with the same contact.
- If the sidebar has not been customized: No action needed! The "Other tickets" card will show up automatically on the system default help desk sidebar.
- If the sidebar has been customized: The "Other tickets" card will not show up automatically on default or team sidebars that have already been customized by an admin.
To add the "Other tickets" card to a customized sidebar, navigate to Help Desk settings > Sidebar customization and choose the sidebar view you'd like to update. From there, select "Add cards" and select the "Other Tickets" card (under "Standard cards").
CRM & Live Validation on Forms
To help maintain consistent and accurate data in your HubSpot account, you can set rules for custom text and number properties. Live Validation on Forms provides real time feedback to visitors while the user is filling out the form allowing them to fix any issues right away.
For example, you could create an Order Number text property where values can only contain numeric characters, or create a Payment amount number property where values can only contain up to two decimal places. These rules will now be applied to properties to Forms.
Live validation will provide visitors with immediate feedback where the format of their input needs to be corrected e.g. "enter a number with no more than 2 decimal places."
Filter Editing in Lists, Workflows & Views
Previously, when filtering on a set of values, you would need to format your data and then manually enter each value into the filter editor. This process was tedious, confusing, and time-consuming! Now, you can easily copy and paste multiple rows of data extremely easily into lists, workflows, and views.
If you have any custom delimiters, you can format your entry by clicking on “edit” to view the “Edit values” modal. You can easily format and view your values here (see screenshot).
Note: This update will support up to 250 values. No existing list, workflow, or views will be impacted.
